My Brand
If I had to describe myself in five words, I would say I am creative, innovative, hard-working, a designer, and someone who stands out. Each of these words really shows a piece of who I am and how I show up in my life every day. Creativity and innovation are part of my everyday thinking—I’m always coming up with new ideas for content, fun posts, or ways to show my personality. Being hard-working is something I take seriously because I know success doesn’t come without putting in the effort. I love designing and creating—whether that’s a new look for a post, a fashion outfit, or an idea for a project. And finally, I like to stand out. I want my presence, my work, and my energy to be memorable—not just blending in but being someone people notice in a positive way. A lot of my experiences so far have shaped who I am, both personally and professionally. One of the biggest has been my journey toward becoming a content creator. I’ve always loved the idea of sharing my creativity with others, and I’m constantly thinking about ideas for posts, new ways to present content, or fun, aesthetic things I can create. That process has taught me discipline and focus because content creation isn’t just about posting—it’s about planning, telling a story, and building a brand that people can connect with. Beyond content creation, my involvement in leadership and campus organizations has really helped define me as a person. Being the President of Young, Gifted, and Black, participating in the BSU Service Committee, being part of the Thompson Scholar Program, and consistently making the Dean’s List has taught me how to balance responsibilities, work with others, and lead in a way that is thoughtful and intentional. These experiences have also helped me see the value of community and using the skills I have to make a difference. Communication is another huge part of who I am. I like to communicate in a way that’s clear, respectful, and intentional. I make it a point to listen first to understand someone else’s perspective and then respond thoughtfully. Whether I’m collaborating on a project, networking for professional opportunities, or just talking with friends, I always aim to be genuine, confident, and positive. I also adjust how I communicate depending on the situation—sometimes I’m casual and friendly, and other times I’m professional and precise. I’ve learned that effective communication isn’t just about getting your point across; it’s about making others feel heard and respected, which is something I try to do every day. When it comes to my personal mission, I like to keep it real and focused on both my dreams and the impact I want to have. My mission is simple: I want to be everything I dream of and live the life I imagine. I want to inspire and empower others through creativity, authenticity, and passion. My goal is to build a strong personal brand as a digital content creator in the fashion and beauty world, while also growing as a student and professional. I want to explore new experiences, travel the world, and use every opportunity to learn, connect, and leave a positive mark wherever I go. My mission motivates me to keep pushing myself, stay focused, and remember why I started in the first place. Right now, I’m a college student working on a double major in Marketing and Management with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations. I’m a sophomore with a 3.540 GPA, and my faith is a big part of who I am—it keeps me grounded and motivated. I’m involved in multiple organizations on campus, like Young, Gifted, and Black, the BSU Service Committee, and the Thompson Scholar Program, which has taught me leadership, time management, and the importance of giving back. Being on the Dean’s List also reminds me of the value of dedication and hard work. All of these experiences together are shaping me into someone who is prepared for both professional opportunities and the challenges of life. Looking ahead, I have a clear picture of the person I want to become. Professionally, I hope to secure internships at beauty brands like Ulta or Sephora because of the experience, exposure, and connections they offer. I want to learn from the best in the industry and apply those lessons to build my own content and personal brand. I’m also planning to study abroad in Tokyo, Japan, at Temple University for a semester so I can immerse myself in a new culture, gain inspiration, and bring fresh ideas into my work. Traveling and seeing the world is a big part of my vision because it helps me grow creatively, personally, and professionally. I'm also growing as a content creator. I’ve started building my presence on Instagram and TikTok, creating posts that showcase my style, personality, and creativity. Soon, I’ll be launching my Glam Girl Diaries series, which I’m really excited about because it will help me build my brand even more and show people what I can do. My ultimate goal is to be a successful content creator and model, collaborating with beauty brands while still making my own content on the side. I want to network into the fashion world, live in New York, attend brand events, and develop a clientele of my own. I also want to graduate with my master’s degree, living in either Chicago or New York, fully prepared for the career and life I’ve been building toward. At the core, I define myself as someone creative, innovative, hard-working, a designer, and unique, and all of my experiences—from academics to leadership to content creation—help reinforce that identity. Who I am now is a student, a content creator in progress, and a young professional laying the groundwork for a future I’m excited to create. Who I want to become is someone who is successful in the beauty and fashion world, recognized for my creativity and work ethic, and making a positive impact on others. I want my life and my work to inspire people to chase their dreams, embrace their uniqueness, and create the life they imagine. Everything I do is intentional and connected to my vision. From my leadership roles to my academics, from my content creation to my networking, every step is helping me grow and move closer to my goals. I see creativity as my superpower, discipline as my tool, and my mission as my guide. My journey is uniquely mine, and I’m proud of the path I’m on, the work I’m doing, and the goals I’m chasing. This journey isn’t just about me; it’s about the inspiration, connections, and opportunities I create along the way. 4eIn conclusion, I am a creative, innovative, hard-working, designer, and standout individual. My experiences in leadership, academics, and content creation have shaped who I am and prepared me for the next steps in my journey. My personal mission drives me to live the life I dream of, inspire others, and grow professionally and personally. Right now, I’m a college student balancing academics, leadership, and content creation. In the future, I see myself as a successful content creator, beauty industry professional, and global citizen leaving a positive impact wherever I go. Every goal I set, every post I create, and every opportunity I take is a step toward becoming the person I’ve always imagined myself to be.
